The Simmons Beautyrest line has been updated for 2016. The Black Collection has 12 new models under 7 names: Tatiana (Ultra Plush Pillow Top), Sonya (Luxury Firm Pillow Top), Natasha (Plush Pillow Top, Luxury Firm Pillow Top), Mariela (Plush, Luxury Firm, Extra Firm), Katarina (Plush Pillow Top, Luxury Firm Pillow Top), Desiree (Plush, Luxury Firm), Calista (Extra Firm).

The Heart of the mattress refers to Advanced Pocketed Coil® Technology, consisting of triple-stranded coils. BR describes these as more durable than ordinary pocket coils.
Hundreds of cooling carats are "micro diamonds" (carbon crystals) infused into memory foam. Beautyrest claims this Micro Diamond™ Memory Foam contributes to BR's reputed back support while also cooling the mattress. Combined with gel, this is called BlackICE™ Memory Foam.
Breathes beneath the surface is a reference to Beautyrest Black's SurfaceCool™Plus Fiber Technology. Fibers beneath the cover fabric act to foster airflow.
Temperature regulation in general is called Innovative comfort. A key ingredient is the BlackICE.
Luxurious to the touch rolls up all the key features of Simmons' Beautyrest Black mattresses.
The 2016 Beautyrest Black mattresses have several ingredients: SurfaceCool™ Plus Fiber, AirCool® Gel Memory Foam, BlackICE™ Memory Foam, Comfort Response™ Latex, Micro Coil, Advanced Pocketed Coil®, AirCool® BeautyEdge®. Not all models have all these components. Tatiana and Sonya have each component in this list. Calista has only three.
One foundation is named with the Beautyrest Black mattresses, the Beautyrest SmartMotion Base, an adjustable bed with embedded sensors and six-level massage.
Beautyrest Black mattresses carry a 10-year warranty.
