| The Milan from Bragada is a 16.5 inch thick mattress which Bragada uses the term “ultra luxury” to describe. The Milan uses a pure silk and bamboo cover for excellent surface feel, and a full inch of Bragada CoolTemp memory foam quilted into that cover for added initial comfort. The bed should have a plush feel overall. Considering that the Milan uses 5 inches of 5.3lb memory foam, it may take a few minutes for the foam to equalize temperature and reach maximum softness. Once the foam is warmed up, you will feel the trademark memory foam feel as your body creates an impression which details the shape of your body. The Bragada Milan also makes use of several other innovations from Bragada, including the Bragada MagicMiddle enhanced support layer and Bragada Max-EDGE surround system. These systems work together to increase usable area, decrease roll-off if you lie near the edge of the bed, and an improved seating surface. Also, you will have a section throughout the middle of the bed which is firmer and more supportive. This transition should not be noticeable when you sleep. If you have current stiffness when you wake up, the Bragada MagicMiddle system may help by not permitting your hips to penetrate too far into the softness of the bed. The Milan from Bragada is only one step down from their top of the line mattress and bed set. The Milan is respectably priced at about $2100 including shipping and foundation for a queen size. The warranty is a limited lifetime warranty, and a substantial 15 years is based on full replacement value (not pro-rated). A bed from Bragada, especially such as the Milan or Vellaggio, may be a wise purchase if you are comfortable on a plush bed. |
