| Bragada released their top of the line mattress under the name Vellaggio. The Vellaggio, at about 18.5 inches thick, incorporates virtually every feature that you could put into a pure foam mattress. The Vellaggio is meant to be the plushest model available from Bragada. With 8lb and 5.3lb memory foam plus 2 inches of firm latex foam the overall feel should be borderline between plush and ultra plush. All of the memory foam and latex foam layers are the Bragada CoolTemp design, which was created to help you sleep a little cooler at night. The natural bamboo and silk cover has a half inch of memory foam quilted directly into the cover too. The Vellaggio still carries all of the features from other mattresses from Bragada, such as the Bragada Max-EDGE system for a firmer border around the edge of the mattress, and the Bragada MagicMiddle lumbar-area support. Another feature of the Vellaggio is the overall look of the bed. Obviously, your primary concern should be comfort, but the appearance will certainly help you feel better about making a purchase for a bed that is almost $2650. When you see the mattress, there is no doubt you will have an impression of luxury and confidence. The quilt design for the cover is called “tack and jump”, which essentially means that several areas are quilted down, but not connected to each other. The thick euro-top also gives a visual cue to the plushness at the surface of the bed. With the design features and multiple layers of ventilated foam used to construct the Bragada Vellaggio, there is really no rival for this bed to get an accurate price comparison. While the Vellaggio from Bragada is definitely an investment, the construction and expensive materials, along with the intricate design, seem to support the price. Take a few extra minutes and evaluate this 18.5 inch thick bed carefully, including the return process and sleep trial period, before making a purchase. |
