The Eaglewood Plush euro pillow top is a comfortably soft mattress thanks to its pillow top layer. This will increase the overall softness of the mattress by adding a convoluted pillow top layer to the top of the bed. This convoluted 1.5 inch layer (peak to base) is a solid layer, unlike standard pillow top layers which are just batting which is quilted into the cover. This will eliminate the tendency of the pillow top layer from separating where you sleep causing a dip in the mattress. While all Preferred mattresses from Sealy Posturepedic have the PostureTech coil system, UniCased edge support, and X3 SuperSoft zoned inlay, The Eaglewood Plush Pillow top is made a little softer by the nature of convoluted foam and the 2.5 total inches of soft foam, plus the X3 SuperSoft layer found in all Preferred Posturepedic mattresses. This bed certainly feels more soft and plush than its siblings. All in all, this should be a comfortable sleep system with appeal for a wide segment of mattress shoppers. While we believe you cannot put a price on a great nights’ sleep, this bed makes it easy to stay within a budget but get what you want and need. If your body craves a soft feel with firm underlying support than you should check out the Eaglewood Plush pillow top from the Sealy Posturepedic Preferred series.
