| The Serta Perfect Sleeper collection has all of the innovation you would expect from a moderately-priced brand: zoned support, enhanced spring networks, comfortable quilted covers, and an edge support system that appears to be both effective and invisible to the day-to-day use of the bed. The Continuous Support System is a coil spring network which uses large-diameter spring steel (14.25 gauge steel) which is coiled and gets progressively firmer as more pressure is applied. The Foam Encasement is a border which surrounds the spring network and provides bolstered edge support and lessens ‘roll off’ felt as you turn closer to the edge of the bed. You also still enjoy the FireBlocker patented fire resistant cover and the zoned surface which helps to decrease pressure points under the heaviest parts of your body. As with all mattresses, an important fact to consider on the Perfect Sleeper series from Serta is the warranty. Not all warranties are created equal, but we do like the 20 year warranty provided by Serta, which covers you from manufacturers defects for 10 years at full replacement/repair, then an additional 10 years prorated based on the value of the mattress. All of the Perfect Sleeper models, such as the Moon Mist, City Charmer, and Rivermist are covered by this long warranty. The firm models offered by Serta in the Perfect Sleeper line may not fit every sleeper and every budget out there, but do cover a wide segment of sleepers and budgets. We recommend if you like the Perfect Sleeper line but want a soft or firm mattress instead that you check out the Perfect Sleeper firm and Perfect Sleeper plush categories. |
