Besides the consumer retail bedding market, Sherwood Bedding Group also supplies mattresses to the hospitality industry. Sherwood lists eight mattress models in two collections: The Sherwood Edge and the Contract Botique Collection from Retail. The first collection has five unique models designed for the hospitality market. The second has hospitality editions of mattresses from Sherwood's retail listings.
The five Sherwood Edge models are Luxury Resort Pillow Top, Plaza Suite Plush, Serenity Suite No Flip Plush, Royal Suite Firm, and Classic Suite Plush. Of these, the Luxury Resort and the Serenity Suite are 1-sided no-flip mattresses, and the others are 2-sided. The mattress heights range from Luxury Resort's 13" to 10" for Classic Suite.
Four of the Edge models rely on the Lura-Flex Alternating Coil Support System. This innerspring, with 805 coils in Queen size, has foam-encased offset coils with independent response arranged in five zones. The fifth model, Classic Suite, has Leggett & Platt's double offset balanced Verti-Coil support system with 460 coils in Queen.
Atop the coils in each innerspring mattress model of The Sherwood Edge are "specialized foam products" to cushion and cradle the sleeping customers. According to Sherwood, these foams are above standards for the industry, with more resilience than ordinary materials
The Sherwood Edge mattresses also use naturally flame-retardant materials to meet flammability standards. These are fibers naturally fire resistant, with no chemicals to be irritants or health hazards.
The mattresses in the Contract Botique Collection are found in retail listings. The three listed models are all from the Lumina Collection: Cadence Pillow Top, Brilliance Eurotop, and Lumina Spirit Plush. All are no-flip models with fully foam-encased pocket coils and thick shock-absorbing base pads. Mattress height range rom 13.5 to 16 inches.
The literature with the Contract Botique models invites the hospitality agent to ask about Sherwood Bedding's "Evo Green, luxury, all-foam beds incorporating Memory, Latex, Gel, and Soy foams for a higher level of pressure relief and support." So although the hospitality listings present innerspring mattresses, specialty sleep products, such as memory foam mattresses and latex mattresses, are also available for hotels, motels, and bed-and-breakfast clients.
