TEMPUR-Simplicity

Tempur-Pedic offers a choice of Soft, Medium or Firm with their TEMPUR-Simplicity memory foam mattress, introduced in early 2012. The TEMPUR-Simplicity is priced in the low-to-medium range.

As the name Simplicity implies, this is the simplest of the Tempur-pedic mattresses. The TEMPUR-Simplicity has only two layers, a TEMPUR-Essential material comfort layer on top and a Simplicity support base layer below. This is covered a Micro-Denier Knit fabric. The recommended foundation is Tempur-Pedic's Ecru MicroSuede, but it is also compatible with the TEMPUR-Ergo™ Adjustable Base.

One drawback of the two-layer structure of the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Simplicity mattress is the absence of a center layer with airflow channels to help counter the heat retaining properties of memory foam.
