The Freestyle
The Freestyle is an
adjustable bed made by
Customatic Adjustable Bedz. It has a simple design with only four sections. Two sections for the feet and one for the upper body can be elevated, but the hip section stays on the frame.
Customatic calls this a "Traditional Foundation Design."

Customatic claims that
The Freestyle can be adjusted for any size or shape of user. That is, it has a continuous range of articulation within its limits (maximum elevation of the head and foot). This adjustable bed can be used for more than sleeping: reading, visiting, eating, watching videos or TV, using a laptop or tablet, etc.
When elevating the head of
The Freestyle, the bed base moves back on the frame, keeping the head in the same horizontal position. This
Wall-Glide Design keeps the nightstand within reach.
The positions of
The Freestyle by
Customatic can be customized with the wireless hand-held remote by adjusting the head and the foot independently. The remote has three pre-set positions, including
Zero Gravity, and an
Auto-Flat button. The
Sof-Touch keys are backlit, and the remote is contoured for comfortable holding. A split unit has a pair of remotes so each side can be independently controlled. They can be synchronized to operate in unison.
The top half of the remote controls the positions of
The Freestyle. The bottom half manages the dual massage. The head and feet can be operated individually or in conjunction. A
Stop button makes it easy to exit the massage.
The frame of
The Customatic Freestyle has steel legs with locking casters. A safety feature is
Gravity Release, which lets the bed's own weight lower it slowly to the flat position. It also has an under-the-bed night light.
The Freestyle is sold by
Parklane Mattresses in the Portland, Oregon area. It was also sold as the
iCare 2 by the
iCare Sleep Products division of
HSM Solutions (formerly
Hickory Springs Manufacturing).
