On one retailer's site, The Fashion by Customatic Adjustable Bedz is called a "Luxurious base with all the bells & whistles." This deck-on-deck adjustable bed has a cushioned deck which rests on the outer box frame in the flat position, not in the frame as in-deck models such as Instyle/NOVA. The box frame and the edge of the deck are upholstered to look like a traditional bed. But there's more than fashion to The Fashion.
As with most Customatic models, The Fashion features "customization and personalization." This begins with the operation of the bed. Customatic says The Fashion "Adjusts to every shape and size." With a virtually infinite number of positions within the elevation limits, there is a position for practically everybody. Three positions are preset, available with the push of a single buttton. The goal is to find the user a position that enables him or her to sleep restfully and awaken refreshed.
While the head of The Fashion is rising, it stays in line with the bedside table or nightstand, thanks to the Wall-Glide feature. When the bed is lowered, it allows gravity to pull it down, safer than using power to lower the bed. Other safety features on The Fashion include the optional Room Glow night light, a LED light under the bed to softly illuminate the floor for navigation from and to the bed. This model is ETL certified as safe electrical equipment.
The Fashion is operated by a wireless remote hand-set with buttons for raising and lowering the head and foot, three preset positions, and one button for returning to Flat. The Sof-Touch keys are backlit for night-time use. The contour of the remote is designed to make it easy to hold and use.
This remote control also operates the therapeutic dual massage. This massage has variable styles for the two zones. The massage is intended to relieve stress on muscles and joints.
The steel legs of Customatic's The Fashion have rolling casters which can be locked to keep the bed in place. The headboard brackets are adjustable to make it easier to match your favorite headboard with this adjustable bed.
