The Privia is one of Customatic's modular deck adjustable beds. It has four modules. Among the other four modular deck models, The Triflex has three modules, The Sectional-5 and The Skyline each have five, and the Sectional-6 has six.
Among the features of The Privia are Wall-Glide Design, steel "spider legs" for stability, Gravity-Release, customizable positions, full lounge position, adjustable brackets for a headboard, and a therapeutic massage, as well as an optional night light under the bed.
Safety is apparently an important consideration in the design of The Privia. The steel legs have locking casters which allow the bed to be moved, then stay in place. Gravity-Release lets the deck go down by its own weight, not a powered descent. Wall Glide keeps the nightstand within reach, no danger of falling out when you reach back for something. This model has ETL certification as a safe electrical appliance.
The massage in The Privia is a dual massage, which can be controlled individually for each side of a two-person bed. This is also a two-zone massage for the upper body and the lower body, which can also be a full body massage. The intensity can be adjusted for each zone.
The Privia is operated by the handheld wireless remote control. The remote has toggles for adjusting elevations of the head and foot, and for controlling the intensity of the massage for upper and lower body. It also has buttons for three preset positions and three massage settings, as well as for the Flat position and Stop and Full Body for the massage.
