Sealy Reflexion UP Adjustable Foundation

The Reflexion UP Adjustable Foundation is one of two adjustable beds currently sold by Sealy. The other one is the Reflexion 4 Adjustable Base. It can be used with most Sealy mattresses, except Extra Firm models. These include the Optimum and Posturepedic collections. It is also sold with Stearns & Foster mattresses in the Lux Estate Hybrid, Lux Estate, Estate and Signature collections.

Sealy bills the Reflexion Up as "the perfect upgrade from a flat foundation." It is basically a flat foundation with an elevatable head section. The head can be raised up to 65° in a virtually unlimited number of positions from slightly tilted for sleep to almost upright for reading, tablet/laptop use, TV, etc.

The Reflexion UP is controlled with a wired remote handset. This is simple to use, with only the up and down buttons and a flat position button. The controls and the motor are very responsive. According to Stearns & Foster (a Sealy subsidiary), the head can be raised to full height within 30 seconds. The motor is quiet, strong when pushing and pulling, and designed for long-term use. The bed can be lowered during a power outage.

The Reflexion Up is an affordable alternative to a full adjustable bed. It is designed for to be user friendly and durable. It can fit within standard bed frames as a box spring would. In the flat position it is like a platform. Its 9" height is the same as a standard foundation. The Reflexion Up can also be placed directly on the floor or used with optional 4½", 6½" or 9" legs (sold separately).

The foot of the bed has retainer bars designed to make it easy to change sheets.

The Sealy Reflexion Up Adjustable Foundation is available in six sizes: Twin XL, Full, Queen, Split California King, Dual California King and Dual King. The halves of a dual bed can be controlled individually, or can be synced to operate as one.

The Reflextion Up is available through several retailers, both on site and online. It is covered by Sealy with a 3-5-15 Limited Warranty: 3 years full, 5 years parts, 15 years frame.
