Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI), based in Yuba City, California, is a manufacturer of mattresses, pads and pillows made without petrochemicals or other materials that are toxic or yield toxic products. "OrganicPedic" is their signature brand. The materials used in the OMI mattresses include naturally vulcanized latex (rubber), Texas organic cotton and California wool. None of the materials have been treated with chemical pesticides, sanitizers or fire retardants. This even extends to the threads used in sewing.

This caution even extends to the employees' clothing and habits, such as no smoking, no perfumes, no fabric softeners.

Of the 14 models displayed on the OMI Products page, two (Fusion and Classic) have innersprings, one is a youth-child mattress, and one is a crib mattress, which means that Organic Mattresses, Inc. has a organic mattress for each member of the family.
