Memory Foam 500 Series by
Air-Pedic, a division of
Relief Mart, is the lowest of current
Air-Pedic airbeds and the entry level member of their
memory foam models. With only 1" of memory foam, the
Air-Pedic Memory Foam 500 is firm (being an airbed, this firmness is adjustable).
As with all airbeds, the support level is adjustable by controlling the air pressure in the air support unit. The unit the
500 has not one air chamber for the entire mattress, nor two chambers with one for each sleeping partner. It has 6 chambers, as do all current
Air-Pedic airbeds. Influenced by
Relief Mart's chiropractic consultant for mattresses, Dr. Rick Swartzburg, D.C., the
Memory Foam 500 has three zones for each partner, for the upper, middle and lower zones of the body. This enables the user to fully adjust the lumbar area for the best spinal support. The double box top design allows two users to customize their own sides of the bed using the wireless digital remotes.
The top of the
Air-Pedic Memory Foam 500 is a Euro-Top
Kool-Flow™
Micro-vented stretch-knit
cover. Beneath this is 1" of 4-lb.
memory foam. Under this is a 2" support transition layer of high resilient
Flex-Support foam.
Available with the
Air-Pedic Memory Foam 500 and all
Air-Pedic airbed models is
Selectabed's patented optional
Airflow Transfer System to move air into, through and out of the upper layers for cooling and ventilation. This is the same system used in
Tempflow's
memory foam mattresses.
The
Air-Pedic Memory Foam 500 Series is compatible with
platform beds and
foundations as well as with
adjustable beds.

The first 3 years of the 30-year limited warranty on the
Air-Pedic 500 are non-prorated.
