Leggett & Platt unveiled Brio, their newest line of adjustable beds/bases in mid-2013. These are designed to be considerably less expensive than other models of Leggett & Platt adjustable beds. The target market is people who need an adjustable base and prefer the quality which comes with a name brand, but are limited in their budgets. Prices vary by retailer, but the lowest model of this new line, the Brio 20, sells for less than $1,000.
The three introductory models of the Brio brand are Brio 20, Brio 30, and Brio 60. Each of these adjustable foundations is rated at 550 lbs. total maximum weight. All of them can lift both the head and the feet. The four standard positions are flat, head only, feet only, and zero gravity.
Brio 20 - The Brio 20 is the entry level model of the Leggett & Platt Brio Adjustable Bases line. It is also the lightest: the profile is described as "slim design and low profile." It has a wired remote and carries a 1-year warranty. The available sizes are Twin XL, Queen, and California King.
Brio 30 - The middle model of the Leggett and Platt Brio series is the Brio 30. It has a "full boxspring profile." The wireless remote is wired. It carries a 1-2-20 warranty. It is available in Twin XL, Full XL, Queen, and California King sizes.
Brio 60 - The top model of tis new Leggett & Platt brand is the Brio 60. Like the Brio 30, it has a "full boxspring profile." But it does have more than the other models. The wireless remote has one memory button and a "Flat" button. It also has a dual massage. Additionally, it has wallhugger engineering (which means that the head remains in the same orizonal position as it is raised and lowered). The Brio 60 has a 1-2-20 warranty. The sizes available are Twin XL, Full XL, Queen, and California King.
Motor stopped working within 4 months. They came out right away to put the bed flat but then did not repair for more than 3 weeks. The repair person was supposedly out of the country and inaccessible and reportedly did not tell his supervisor. Finally it was fixed. And broke again within a month. Almost 2 weeks ago, I was told repair man would call in 2-3 days. A week later, and no call, soI called him. He was supposed to come between 3-5 today. No show. No call. Fed up with this company and bed.
