Dream Star is the last model on the list of adjustable beds by Customatic, and is the most advanced. It is like the Rize Revolution which Customatic makes for Mantua Manufacturing Company.
As the top-of-the-line model, the Dream star has many advanced features, Customatic says, "This Ultra-Premium Adjustable Bed combines style, with more innovative features & options to totally customize & personalize your sleep experience." The features listed by Customatic are as follows:
Dream Star is a 5-module adjustable base. Until recently, most adjustable beds have had four modules: head/torso, hips, upper legs, and lower legs/feet. In the 5-module base the top module is split between the head and the torso. The advantage is that this module can be adjusted for better head support, especially considering the use at the time (for instance, sleeping versus reading).
The user can increase or decrease the level of support for the lower back as needed. This need differs from person to person, from time to time, and according to sleeping position.
Customatic's Wall-Glide keeps the head of the bed in the same relative horizontal osition while the head is raised and lowered. This leaves the user within reach of the nightstand. No strain of reaching back for something you need.
Ultra-Frequency is a wireless remote signal which is stronger and less subject to local interference. This feature in the Customatic Dream Star adjustable bed automatically selects the best frequency for the time. If interference develops, Auto-Jump changes to a better frequency.
The wireless hand-held remote for the Customatic Dream Star adjustable bed raises and lowers the bed sections and controls the massage and the lumbar adjustment. The Sof-Touch keys are backlit for dim/dark use. There are three preset positions plus a "one-touch" button for returning to the flat position.
The full-body/wave massage has two zones, upper body and lower body. The mode and intensity of the massage can be adjusted, separately for upper and lower body or synchronized together. A timer shuts off the massage after 15 minutes of continuous operation. Also, as a safety feature, excess weight stops the massage.
All high-end adjustable bases now have an under-the-bed light, and Dream Star is no exception. This is a safety feature for getting into and out of bed in the dark. Being under the bed, it should not disturb sleep.
With Customatic's Bluetooth stereo speaker sound system in the Dream Star (a feature shared with the NOVA), users can play music, radio, audio from TV, and game sound effects from their Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Speaking of electronic devices, they can be charged with the USB ports located on the side of the frame of the Dream Star.
Styling in the Dream Star by Customatic begins with the deck-on-deck design of the platform (the part the mattress rests on). Besides yielding a furniture appearance, it also enhances support and flexibility. The styling continues with linen fabric upholstery on the frame and wood legs. Headboard brackets are included so the users can have whatever headboard they prefer. Unless the bed is raised, it looks like any bed of that size.
