The Eternity Foundation, also called the Eternity Flat Foundation, is the more basic of the two bases added to its 2016 lineup by Dormeo North America. The other is the Elite Platform Storage Base. Both of these were designed specifically to support Dormeo's mattresses.
Simpler than the Elite, Eternity is made of wood—southern yellow pine. Its surface consists of 3"-wide slats to provide sure support to the foam spring mattress on top. The slats allow breathability for the bottom of the mattress. They also have some resiliency, not as much as with a box spring, but enough to act as a shock absorber.
The sides of the Eternity are covered with upholstery fabric to make this base compatible with room decor as well as with the mattress.
The Dormeo Eternity Foundation is covered by a 10-year non-prorated warranty. It is available through Dormeo retailers in the United States and Canada.
