The Classic Model is the "base model" of electric beds by Easy Rest Adjustable Sleep Systems. They say that it has "the functionality of our more premium models with fewer bells and whistles." In other words, it is a simpler adjustable bed at a lower cost, with sturdy motors and a full range of positions.
The frame of the Classic Model is made of high carbon steel with a rust-resistant powder coating. All mechanisms are recessed to prevent injuries. The frame also features mountings for adjustable headboard brackets. Leg extensions are available for adjusting the height of the bed. The casters are lockable to keep the bed in place.
Two Linak motors power the East Rest Classic Model. A virtually unlimited number of positions are available from flat up to 70° for reading, using a tablet or watching TV. The legs can also be elevated to relieve stress and to aid circulation. The motors are sealed completely. They are also self-lubricating, which means long-lasting service.
More than just basic, the Classic Model Electric Therapeutic Bed has a massage. The massage itself is basic, with two speeds, but it is there for relaxation and easing of tired and sore muscles. This is part of the "therapeutic" in the name.
The Classic Model is controlled with a wired hand-held remote.
Easy Rest has a medium-firm mattress for use with the Classic Model Electric Therapeutic Bed. The foundation (frame and mechanisms) has a 5-year pro-rated warranty. The motors have a limited 90-day warranty.
