As of 2015, Electropedic Beds has three models of adjustable beds: WH1, WH2 and WH3. These are sold in Electropedic's factory showrooms as well as several retailers and a few mattress manufacturers, such as Tempflow.
The WH2 shares basic features with WH1 and WH3. These include a frame of 100% steel, two direct-drive DC motors, back-up battery, Wall-Saving deck glide system, circular massage, and a full range of adjustable positions.
The WH2 has an 850-lb. lifting capacity, the same as the WH3. This includes the deck, mattress, sleeper(s) and bedding. The manual cautions against using the motors too long at any one time.
While the WH1 has a single massage motor, the WH2 has a dual massage with two motors. These also are circular massages. Each massage motor in the WH2 has three speeds and a 20-minute timer (the WH1 massage has one speed).
The frame of the Electropedic WH2 Adjustable Bed has four legs, each with a caster. These are Solid Rolling casters that can be locked. The height of the bed can be adjusted by using different length legs. This means that if you have a high-profile mattress (13" and above), you can lower the frame to make it easier to get into bed. The standard height for the deck is 15" from the floor with 8" of clearance under the bed.
Headboard, sideboard and footboard brackets can be ordered for Electropedic adjustable beds, such as the WH2. For customers who have split beds (two Twin beds joined to make a King), with the WH2, making the bed is eased by a Swing-Away Hinge. However, if a single King mattress is used on the bed, the lift systems can be linked to be synched to operate as one–the massages can still be separate.
The wireless remote for the WH2 has six square buttons for the massage: Head, Foot, Timer, and three intensities/speeds. Below these are four buttons for adjusting the bed: rocker buttons for the Head and Foot, and two preset buttons for Flat and Zero Gravity.
Electropedic has its own Latexopedic latex mattresses available for use with the WH2, but this adjustable bed can be used with other mattresses from many manufacturers. The mattress and the adjustable bed are to work together for a restful quality sleep.
The WH2 comes with a 20-Year Limited Warranty, with full coverage in the first year, and prorated coverage for the rest of the term.
