Ergomatic 4000

The Ergomatic 4000 adjustable bed by Christeli has more features than the Ergomatic 1000. In addition to the heavy duty construction, wall-saving feature, virtually unlimited position adjustments, and interchangeable accessories, the E-4000 has customizable massage, wireless remote, backup battery, programmable logic controller, and zero gravity position.

The heavy duty construction of the Christeli Ergomatic 4000 Adjustable Bed includes a heavy-gauge steel framework which is powder-coated for a lasting finish and rust prevention. The horizontal rails are long to keep the foot end from drooping.

The Ergomatic 4000 has a wall saving feature. The articulating frame moves back on the rails when the head is raised to keep the head in the same position horizontally. This leaves the user within reach of the nightstand, light switch, or whatever else is at hand at that end of the bed.

The two motors which power the Christeli Ergomatic 4000 operate quietly (note: all adjustable bed motors now being produced are quieter than the original motors). They have all-metal motor housings for durabiliy A queen-sized Ergomatic 4000 can handle up to 500 lbs, and the motors are able to lift at least that much. The Ergomatic 4000 also has a 9-volt backup batttery.

The logic controller for the motors is progammable, allowing the control system to be upgraded. If the power goes out or the remote fails, the bed can be lowered to the flat position slowly and safely by gravity alone.

The legs for the Ergomatic 4000 are interchangeble. The standard leg height is 9 inches, but alternate legs are shorter, allowing the user to select a height compatible with a standard furniture bed frame.

Christeli's Ergomatic 4000 has a built-in massage with three intensity settings. Each of these settings can be timed for 10, 20 or 30 minutes. The massage can be set for head, foot or both, and with a rolling wave pattern. The wave and the intensity can be adjusted indpendently.

The wireless remote of the Ergomatic 4000 has backlit keys for ease of use in dim light or darkness. In addition to the raising and lowering the head and foot of the bed, there are buttons for a preset Zero G position and Flat. The remote also controls the massage and under-the-bed lighting.

The available sizes of the Ergomatic 4000 are Twin, Twin XL, Full, Full XL, Queen, Split Queen, Split Eastern King, and Split California King. It is available through Christeli (order by phone or online) and through authorized dealers. The Ergomatic 4000 is compatible with all Christeli memory foam mattresses, as well as many mattresses from other manufacturers.

Christeli has a 20-year limited warranty on their adjustable beds.
