Ergomotion e|Series
The newest collection from
adjustable base manufacturer
Ergomotion is the
e|Series. It was shown at the Las Vegas World Furniture Market in January 2014, and was featured by
W. Silver Products. The
e|Series has three models so far, the
e4, the
e6, and the the
e6+. They progress, respectively, in build and features. They have not yet shown up on retailer listings, but it may be too soon. Since
Ergomotion makes adjustable beds for certain mattress manufacturers,
e|Series models may show up under their brands, such as
Serta Motion and
NuFlex.
The frames of the
e|Series by
Ergomotion are made by
W. Silver Products (WSP) from recycled steel.
WSP has its own steel mill and also makes bed frames.
The entry level model is
e4. It is headboard and bedframe compatible, as are all
e|Series models, but the headboard brackets have to be purchased separately. It has a weight capacity of 650 lbs. and is controlled by a wired remote, which has a
Flat Button. The
e4 carries
Ergomotion's 10-year limited warranty.
The middle model is
e6, with several more features than the
e4, beginning with headboard brackets being included. The mechanism includes
Wallsaver, and the weight capacity is 850 Lbs. The remote control is wireless and backlit, with reprogammable presets, factory presets for
Flat and
Zero-G, and head and foot massage with timer. It is Bluetooth compatible, but the module is sold separately. The
e6 carries a 20-year limited warranty.
The top-of-the-line
model is e6+. It has everything e6 has plus a pocket for the remote, an LED under-the-bed light, and two USB chargers. The shroud height for e6 and e6+ is 7.5 inches.
The e|Series adjustable beds have color options for the cover fabric and the 8" legs, so they can be customized to coordinate with room decor. According to Ergomotion, "e|Series is compatible with all existing
Ergomotion legs and accessories."
