The Carroll CS Series is a collection of adjustable beds designed and sold for long-term healthcare, including in-home care. The Carroll CS Series beds are configured especially for both institutional and home care. All of the models can be assembled and adjusted without tools. They can be adjusted in height: 9"-30" for CS5, CS7 and CS9, and 8.75"-27" for CS3. And the CS3, CS5 and CS7 are available in widths of 36, 39 and 42 inches, while the CS9 is adjustable among these widths. The back in each of the Carroll beds can be raised to 70°, a full sitting position.

These are bariatric care beds, meaning that they can be used for extra-heavy persons. The weight capacity is 600 lbs. for CS9, 500 lbs. for CS7 and CS5, and 450 lbs. for CS3.
The beds can be moved when needed, but they can be locked in location for safety. With the Mobility on Demand feature, they are locked when raised high. but can be moved at lower settings when the bed is more stable.
The hand controls and the control panel are easy to read and use and easy to clean. This makes them both patient-friendly and caregiver friendly.
The decks of the Carroll CS Series long-term care adjustable beds are arched slats. Invacare claims that this aids in infection control. Additionally all surfaces are impermeable and easily cleanable.
