The Simplicity 2.0 by Leggett & Platt is an upgrade of the original Simplicity. The current adjustable bed is in the Performance Models series. The earlier model was originally in the Designer Series, then moved to the Classic Series.
Simplicity
Though the Simplicity 2.0 does not have all the pizzaz of the Premium Models, it does have a lot to offer. And the new model is definitely advanced beyond its predecessor.
To begin with, the lifting capacity of the Whisper Quiet motors has been increased by 100 lbs. from 450 lbs. to 550 lbs.
The new remote control will stand on end. This makes it easy to find and pick up. This is especially helpful if you are elevated. The older remote has one programmable position. The new one has two, and also has a Zero-G position for putting head and feet at the same level.
The older Simplicity had a single massage, back only. The massage in the Simplicity 2.0 is dual wave, massaging both upper and lower body.
Among shared features are optional leg lengths and optional headboard brackets.
The older model is still listed by a few retailers. When it sells out, the Simplicity 2.0 will replace it. It is covered by a 1-3-20 limited manufacturers warranty.
