One of the three new Rize models shown by Mantua Manufacturing at the 2016 World Market in Las Vegas, the Avante is a deck-on-deck adjustable bed with a full-lounge feature. It's prototype is the Equinox, one of the newer models by Customatic Adjustable Bedz, the producer of Mantua's adjustable bases.
The Avante has essentially all the features of the Contemporary II, also released in 2016. These include the full lounge position, and Wall-Glide. Also shared are the AC power outlets, one on each side, which Mantua had added to the Equinox frame.
Other significant standard features of the Rize Avante are the dual-body therapeutic massage, Custom Clip Retainer Brackets at the foot and the head to hold the mattress in place during articulation, the Room Glow under-the-bed night light, and a backup battery for lowering the bed during a power outage.
A key safety feature is Gravity Release. This lets the deck return to the flat position using gravity. This is safer than relying on powered descent, and it assures that the bed can be lowered if the power is out. The switch can be operated by the battery backup.
The Avante can be fitted within an existing bed frame. But for those who want a headboard without the extra frame, headboard brackets are available.
For those who experience breathing problems while sleeping, Avante has an Anti-Snore feature. This adjusts the elevation of the head to where snoring stops. On a split size bed, one partner can silence the other's snoring. This also helps prevent sleep apnea.
The Avante has the same wireless remote as the Contemporary II. This hand-held device has toggles for controlling the head and foot of the bed. It also has three pre-set positions and controls for the 3-wave massage function. The Sof-Touch buttons are backlit.
Like other Rize models, the Avante has a lifting capacity of 650 lbs. per unit. This translates to a total of 1300 lbs in split sizes.
The Avante is available in eight sizes: Twin (39"x75"), Twin XL (39"x80"), Full (54"x75"), Full XL (54"x80), Queen (60"x80"), Split Queen (two 30"x80" sections), Split King (two TXL sections), and Split California King (two 36"x84" sections).
The Avante carries a 20-Year Premium Limited Warranty.
