The remote control is hard-wired with a six-key layout. Functions include one-touch Auto Flat and Sync for synchronizing adjustments for the upper and lower body. A key safety feature is Gravity Release, which lets the bed's own weight slowly lower it.

The Elevation powered by two Whisper Quiet motors, 6,000 Newtons apiece. Queen size has a 650 lb. lifting capacity.

Available through several retailers, the Rize Elevation carries a 20-year warranty. Among options are headboard brackets, available by order.

There is now a second entry level bed, the Edge, which has a wireless remote.
