Sealy Reflexion 4 Adjustable Power Base

The Sealy Reflexion 4 Adjustable Power Base was designed for the Sealy Posturepedic and Optimum mattresses and is made for Sealy by Mantua Manfacturing Co. It has a wide range of positions, a dual wave massage, and a night light under the bed.

The head and foot of the Reflexion 4 adjustable bed can be raised continuously to the maximum elevations, whatever level the user desires. There are three preset positions on the wireless remote: Incline, Zero Gravity, and Lounge. Incline puts the head at a high level while the foot is raised only a little, a position suitable for reading, better breathing, or just relaxing. Zero Gravity elevates the foot higher than the head. By having the feet higher than the heart, circulation is enhanced while heart stress is reduced. The Lounge position is designed for sitting, such as when using a laptop, writing, visiting, or whatever the user would do in a lounge chair.

The dual-zoned wave massage of the Sealy Reflexion 4 Adjustable Power Base has three pre-programmed settings on the wireless remote, named Wave 1, Wave 2 and Wave 3. The user can use the massage buttons to adjust the intensity of the head and the foot, customizing the massage.

Under the Reflexion 4 Adjustable Power Base is a night light. This is a safety feature, allowing you to see where you are walking if you get up during the night.

The "Wall-Glide" feature keep the user's head in the same horizontal position relative to the floor. This means first, that the bed does not scrape the wall when being raised or lowerd, and secondly, that the night-stand or beside table remains within reach -- no turning or stretching back to see the clock or grab something.

Safety features, in addition to the under-bed light, are the gravity release for returning the Sealy Reflexion 4 Adjustable Power Base to the flat position, and the foam wrap to protect the user during operation. Besides this, there is a back-up battery in case of a power outage.

The wireless remote for the Reflexion 4 is, except for the Sealy Posturepedic name, identical to the remote for the Mantua Rize Contemporary. The soft-touch buttons are backlit when in use. At the top are two rocker buttons to raise and lower the head and foot with a button btween to return to flat. Just below these are the 3 one-push buttons for pre-set positions (see above). Below the middle of the remote are rocker buttons for the intensity of the head and foot massage. Between then are two buttons, one "Flat," the other "Stop." Below these are the 3 preset wave mode buttons. (see above).

The Sealy Reflexion 4 Adjustable Power Base is UL and ETL certified and approved.
