Serta Motion Perfect II

The Serta Motion Perfect II Adjustable Foundation is an adjustable bed made by Ergomotion for Serta, a major manufacturer of mattresses. It is one of the foundations recommended for Serta's iComfort memory foam mattresses, iSeries hybrid mattresses, and all of its innerspring mattresses. The Motion Perfect II is the "new and improved version" of Serta's "best-selling adjustable foundation," the Motion Perfect. Like adjustable beds in general, comfort is adjustable to the extent of selecting a virtually infinite number of positions within the designed ranges. One feature built into the frame itself is Wall Saver. As the head of the bed is raised and lowered, it remains aligned with the night stand or side table. Headboards can be used with these bases.

The Serta Motion Perfect II has safety features. For instance, it is designed to reduce pinch points to a minimum. And it returns to the flat position by gravity alone. It also had a battery backup in case the power is out.

The Motion Perfect II is controlled with a wireless remote with 15 buttons. It has four pre-set positions. The buttons are backlit to enable use in the dark or dim lighting. For a Split King, the two sides can be synchronized to operate as one. The Motion Perfect II also has a full body wave massage with six levels.

Retainer bars are not needed on the Motion Perfect II Adjustable Foundation. It has the ZipFit™ system for attaching the mattress. Changing sheets is easier as a result.

The lifting capacity of the Motion Perfect II is up to 400 pounds for Twin size and for each side of the Split King, 450 pound for Full, and 500 pounds for Queen.

Accessories are available for the Serta Motion Perfect II Adjustable Foundation. These include different sizes of legs, casters, and headboard brackets. This adjustable bed is sized to fit within most bed frames.

Widely available in stores and online, the Serta Motion Perfect II is covered by Ergomotion's 20 year limited warranty. By the way: setting it on a platform bed is not recommended.
