The Serta Mation Perfect III adjustable base is an upgrade of the Motion Perfect II. Both models, as are all the Serta Motion brand adjustable beds, are made by Ergomotion. This new model is made in China.
In appearance, the Motion Perfect III resembles Ergomotion's Series 600. This is not an exact match, since the MP III has been customized to Serta's requirements. The tagline by Serta includes, "Enhanced Comfort, Support & Relaxation that adjusts to you." According to Serta, this new model provides comfort for the user while using a laptop or tablet, relaxing in bed, watching TV or videos, or several other activities (or inactivities).
The massage system is the first named feature. It has six levels. Massages have a reputation of being noisy, but the operation of this one is labeled Whisper Quiet. The upper body and lower body can be massaged separately or be synchronized.
Bluetooth apps for a smart phone or tablet can be downloaded from iTunes Apple Store or Google Play Store. Otherwise, the wireless remote can be used to operate the bed.
Three preset positions on the remote can be reprogrammed. One preset position is Zero G, which puts the feet on the same level as the head for optimized circulation and breathing. If you want to stop the motion of the bed, press any button on the remote, and it will stop.
Another safety feature is the One Touch Power Outage Lowering Function. There is a Power-Down box underneath the base. Press the button on it, and the bed will lower into the flat position.
Setting up is easier than before. This includes getting a new remote. The new Radio Frequency Pairing Technology pairs the remote with the base automatically.
The drive motors for the Motion Perfect III, like those for the massage, are claimed to be quieter. They are called Next Generation Silent Drive. Now, not all the noise would come from the motors; the joints of the bed are also reponsible. So, to be truly quiet, the frame of the adjustable bed had to be improved.
A key feature of most adjustable beds is Wall Saver (other names for the same feature are on other makes). As the head of the bed rises, the articulating deck moves back, keeping the the user in line with the bedside table or nightstand.
The frame also features what Serta calls Free Motion Design. Each component of the frame is designed to minimize pinch points. The bed can also lower to flat by gravity alone–no dange of a runaway powered descent.
Linking two Twin XL bases makes a King size bed. the two sides can be synched to operate as one.
The motors and the frame have been engineered with the intent of smoother operation. Called the Smooth Power™ Lifting System, gradual power increases mean no jerky starts and stops. You might have to look to see whether you are moving.
The frame is sized to fit into any standard bed frame. This is called, "Zero Clearance Design." And the deck has a velcro retainer system to keep the mattress in place without unsightly retainer bars.
Among premium features on the Motion Perfect III is USB charging ports for electronic devices. With one on each side, two devices can be charged at the same time. Also, magnets embedded in the side of the frame hold the remotes where they could be found.
Several accessories are also available. These include leg options, casters, and headboard brackets.
The Motion Perfect III is available in stores and online. This includes Sears and US Mattress, among several others. Sizes include Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King. It is covered by a 20-year general warranty.

I would not bother to get this replaced with the same mattress since the quality is so low, it would be a waste. I measured the mattress and it had a 3 - 4" indentation even when not lying on it. I weigh 175 lbs - No reason I should have worn it out.
Mattress Rating: Adjustable Bed NoiseWas very comfortable long enough that I did not return it in time.
