Serta Motion Signature is a new adjustable bed model introduced by mattress manufacturer Serta. The Serta Motion adjustable foundations are made by Ergomotion, and the Signature and another new model, Serta Motion Custom, have the features of e6+, the top model in Ergomotion's new e|Series.
The headlined features of the Serta Motion Signature are Pro-Fit, a multi-function remote stand, Advanced Massage Technology and connectability through Bluetooth. Among enhanced basic features are the steel frame, quiet motors, gravity descent, one touch power outage lowering function, programmable remote, wall saving design, and backup battery.
Pro-Fit - Most adjustable bases have a retainer bar at the foot of the bed to keep the mattress on the bed. Serta's Pro-Fit goes beyond this with a retainer at each corner. More than keeping a mattress on the foundation, this system holds the mattress in place so it can articulate with the bed.
Advanced Massage Technology - The Serta Motion Signature uses frequency massage. This relatively new technique massages with sound impulses which penetrate the mattress. The massage system also includes wave massage, with three modes and ten levels of intensity.
Remote Stand - More than a place to set your remote within reach, this stand has two AC outlets, and also has USB ports. The user can charge devices, including the remote, while asleep.
Bluetooth - The Serta Motion Signature is Bluetooth capable. Here it is a step above the e6+: the modules are included in the package and do not have to be purchased separately. A user can control the adjustable base with a smart phone (apps for this are available). The user can also control any other features in the room which are Bluetooth connected.
The strong steel frame is manufactured from recycled steel. The articulated platform is powered by Next Generation Silent Drive™ motors. Together they have a lifting capacity of up to 850 pounds.
Three positions on the hand-held wireless remote for the Serta Motion Signature adjustable foundation are pre-programmed: Flat, Zero-G, and Anti-Snore. The anti-snore position is designed to open the nasal passages for easier breathing. The remote also has two programmable positions. The users can save favorite positions for repeated use. If the power goes out, one button will lower the bed to flat, powered by the backup battery.
The remote also has control buttons for the massage. Three times are available: 10, 20 and 30 minutes. Intensity can be increased or decreased for the head and/or the foot.
Thw wall-saving design keeps the user's head in the same horizontal position as the bed is raised and lowered, leaving the nightstand within reach.
Headboard brackets are included, fitting most available headboards for the size of bed.
The Serta Motion Signature carries a 25-year waranty. It is available through several retailers, both local and national.
I love my bed but I miss place my information that came along with my bed that give all the instructions and information on how to replace the remote which I need to.
