Sleep-Ezz Reading-Laptop Bed
Along with the
Acid Reflux Bed, the
Reading Laptop Bed is a new
Sleep-Ezz adjustable bed from
Med-Lift. According to
Med-Lift, it "is designed specifically to offer a comfortable solution to those people who like the option of reading while in bed, and being able to adjust the head of the bed to an angle that is most suited to their specific needs. This is also a great answer to those who like to stay up-to-date with their emails, watch their favorite television show, shop on the internet, etc., while relaxing in the comfort of their own bed."
The signature feature of the
Reading Laptop Bed by
Sleep-Ezz is that only the head-torso section can be raised to accomodate sitting up to read, write, or use a laptop or tablet. The natural expectation is that this would cost less than a bed raising both head and foot. The prices for the
Reading/Laptop Bed do fall between those of the
Acid Reflux Bed, which tilts the bed as a whole, and of the
Leisure Bed, which articulates both head and foot.
As with other
Sleep-Ezz adjustable beds, the
Reading/Laptop Bed has heavy-duty construction. Standard weight capacity is 375 lbs, and deluxe 600 lbs. Gusset plates at pivots are 11 gauge steel, the tubular frame 14 gauge, and the base for the mattress is ¾" plywood. The heavy duty Linak motor is specially designed for this bed.
The base padding of the
Sleep-Ezz Reading-Laptop Bed is covered with Damask fabric. There are seven mattress options, innerspring or foam core. The innersprings have a 330 coil count. The non-spring support cores include polyurethane, visco, and latex. Comfort layers vary in content, depending on the selected mattress option.
The
Reading Laptop Bed bears the same warranty as other
Sleep-Ezz adjustable beds. The frame has a limited lifetime warranty, while electic parts are covered for five years.
