Tempur-Ergo Plus
The Tempur-Ergo Plus is the newest adjustable bed model sold by Tempur-Pedic. According to a Tempur-Pedic spokesperson, "we design our adjustable beds." They are actually manufactured by an un-specified company.

Available in several sizes—Twin, Twin Long, Queen, Double (Full), King (Split 2-pc), and California King (Split 2-pc)—the Tempur-Ergo Plus is compatible with all current Tempur-Pedic mattresses except the Grand Bed.

The number of positions for the Tempur-Ergo Plus is described as "almost unlimited." The head can be raised to 70˚ for activities such as reading. Among advertised positions is Zero-G, used by all adjustable foundation brands for the least hip and spinal stress. A key feature for safety is the ability to lower the bed to a flat position when the power is out, making it easier for the user to get out of bed. Another key feature is wall-hugging, which keeps the user's head in the same position relative to other objects, such as the nightstand. For split models, it keeps two users in eye contact position.

The motors for the Tempur-Ergo Plus have a 650-lb. maximum lifting capacity. With split models, this applies to each side, making the purchase of a split base a definite advantage for heavier couples. These motors are claimed to be quiet in operation.

The wireless remote has backlit buttons for in-the-dark or dim-light control. Up to two positions can be saved to memory. One push of a button returns the base to flat.

Available options for the Tempur-Ergo Plus include legs, leg extensions, casters and headboard brackets. The legs come in three sizes: 4½, 6½ and 9 inches. However, this adjustable base can be operated without any legs.

Tempur-Pedic offers a 25-year limited warranty on the Tempur-Ergo Plus.
