Zedbed 9000 Adjustable Base
The
9000 Base is an
adjustable bed made by
Zedbed, a Shawinigan, Quebec bedding manufacturer. It is only 6" high with a 6" lower deck which can be equipped with legs to stand on the floor, or can be used on a standard
foundation, such as a
platform base, metal frame, or built-in bed.
The
9000 is unique among
Zedbed Adjustable Bases. It comes only with a
mattress installed on the bed.
The motor for the
Zedbed 9000, made in the United States, is described as "ultra silent." It has a 600-lb. lifting capacity. The mechanisms are made of a sturdy grade of metal.
The remote for the
Zedbed 9000 Adjustable Base is a plug-in. Besides not needing batteries, an advantage of this is always being by the bed. The remote is simple, since this model does not have a lot of extras.
The primary uses of an adjustable bed are to induce relaxation and sleep, promote good spinal posture, relieve pressure on the joints, and improve circulation and breathing. The
Zedbed 9000 does this through a wide range of positions for both the back and the legs.
