Custom-Z / WallHugger
Custom-Z is one of the new models (as of Fall 2014) of
adjustable beds made by
Zedbed, a bedding manufacturer in Quebec, Canada. It is available in six sizes: 30 x 80 (½ Queen), Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King.
The base is 6" high in the flat position, and can be used on the floor, without any legs, and will work on
platform beds. However, legs are available in 2", 6" or 8" heights.
The
Custom-Z adjustable bed has a lifting capacity of 600 or 700 pounds, but up to 1,000 pounds in the heavy duty version in Queen size. The
Whisper Quiet motors are made in the U.S.A. with German technology.
Wall-hugging design is an option on this model. The
Custom-Z Wall Hugger is available when ordering the bed.
Wall Hugger technology keeps the user within reach of the nightstand when raising the head of the bed.
The
Zedbed Custom-Z is operated with a wireless remote using RF technology. It does not have massage, mobile device app control or pre-programmed positions.
The
Custom-Z is covered with
polyester microsuede with a choice of colors for compatibility with the
mattress and/or room decor.
This adjustable bed comes with
Zedbed's 1-5-20 warranty. It is made entirely in Canada and is available across Canada in in a few U.S. locations.
