Lady Americana, based in Oklahoma City, is a relatively new mattress manufacturer. It was started in 1982. It is affiliated with several other Oklahoma firms, such as Mathis Brothers, Mathis Sleep Studio, Big Red Furniture, Factory Direct Furniture and Beds, Eco Comfort (same address), all located close to each other in Oklahoma City, and Rooms Today Furniture in Tulsa. Not surprisingly, Mathis Brothers appears to be the largest retailer of Lady Americana mattresses.

The curent lineup of Lady Americana mattresses is in three collections: Bronze Collection, Silver Collection, and Gold Collection.

The Bronze Collection features the AMERI-SPRING unit of interlocking coils, covers made of Cashmere, and Visco Lumbar Support made of visco-elastic memory foam. The AmeriSpring coil unit has an extra row of coils to increase the sleeping surface. The five series in this collection are the Super Pillow-Top (ultra plush), Tight-Top (firm), Box Top (medium), Pillow-Top (plush), and Euro-Top (luxury firm).

The Silver Collection features CoolMax covers to wick away moisture, an individually foam-encased spring unit, and a variety of foams and fibers to tailor the comfort level. The names and comfort levels of the five series in the Silver Collection are Super Pillow-Top (ultra plush), Tight-Top (firm), Box Top (medium), Pillow-Top (plush), and Euro-Top (luxury firm).

The Gold Collection is claimed by Lady Americana to be "simply the finest mattress made." The signature features of the mattresses in this collection are (1) they are "hand-made by only a few select artisans," (2) very high coil counts (over 2300 in a king), and (3) the Conforma Health Pad, which "offers the highest density foam available." There are only two series in the Gold Collection: Box Top (plush) and Euro Top (luxury firm).

Besides the innerspring mattresses listed on the Lady Americana website, affiliate Eco-Comfort lists 7 all-foam lines. And one of their contract manufacturers lists a Gel Series Line of 6 gel-infused foam mattresses while its Bronze and Silver series have different model names. Add to these the model names used by the affiliate Mathis Brothers as well as other retailers, and it appears that there is enough variety and diversity in Lady Americana mattresses to give the customer a meaningful choice.
