Air-Pedic 1000 Ultra-Plush Pillow-Top Series
The
Air-Pedic 1000 Ultra-Plush Pillow-Top Series is one of two
Ultra-Plush series in the
Air-Pedic collection of
airbed mattresses made and sold by
Selectabed, the mattresses subsidiary of
Relief Mart.
Air-Pedic's
Ultra-Plush airbeds have the softest feel of all their models. Both series feature
memory foam, but with a difference. The
1000 Ultra-Plush seems to be a combination of the
Traditional and
Memory Foam series.
The bottom two foam layers of the
Air-Pedic 1000 are like those of the
Air-Pedic 700. To these the
1000 adds two more layers. The lower one is a 2½" "Pillow-Top layer" of
Ultra-soft Luxury Plush Traditional foam (not visco-elastic).
Above the "Pillow-Top" layer of the
Air-Pedic 1000 is an Ultra-Plush pillow top, bringing the total
mattress height of the airbed to 13½ inches. This is quilted to the
Kool-Flow™
Micro-vented stretch fabric to form the 2" thick pillowtop
cover.
The preferred
foundation for an airbed offers consistent support all the way across. This requirement is met by
platform beds and
adjustable beds.
Selectabed sells both kinds, wooden traditional beds and three brands of adjustable beds (
Leggett & Platt,
Ergomotion, and
Reverie).
Relief-Mart covers
Air-Pedic 1000 Ultra-Plush Pillow-Top Series airbeds with a 30-year limited warranty. Coverage is non-prorated for the first three years, and prorated for the remaining time. There is also a
Selectabed sleep trial period of 120 nights.
