Aireloom Aspire Collection

The Aspire Collection is one of the more contemporary lines of innerspring mattresses by Aireloom Bedding Company. Aireloom's tagline for this collection is "Streamlined innovation for the contemporary customer." Covers of mattresses in this group feature Slim-line Design, using a 30/70 blend of Tencel and polyester. Comfort layers include memory foam and ventilated Aireluxe foam, and the support is an innerspring of 7" high Pocket-Flex individually wrapped pocket coils.

The Aspire Collection has four models in two series. Aireloom lists one model for the Phase Change series, Phase Change Plush. The Triple Choice Options series has three models: Slim-line Plush, Slim-line Medium Firm, and Slim-line Firm. The two series have the same cover configuration and support unit, but differ in the comfort layers.

The top comfort layer of Phase Change Plush is a foam with phase change materials (PCMs). Temperatures are regulated by PCMs. They change their physical state at the two ends of a temperature range, absorbing heat when it becomes too warm, and releasing heat when it becomes too cool.

Under the PCM foam in the Phase Change mattresses is Aireloom's Cool Visco version of memory foam. Beneath the memory foam are two layers of Aireluxe foam.

Although one Phase Change model and firmness rating is listed on Aireloom.com, at least one retailer lists extra firm mattresses.

The models in the Triple Choice Options series differ in their firmnesses. This is largely determined by the upper comfort layers of foam, which are plush, medium or firm. The middle layers are Aireluxe, with visco-elastic memory foam at the bottom.

The Slim-line Design of Aspire Collection mattesses begins with the ultra-stretch knit Tencel-polyester cover fabric. Tencel is a variety of rayon, formed in a special process. Tencel is a trademark of Lenzing, a German company.

The cover fabric is quilted to flame-resistant fibers and Quilt-flex quilting support foam.

The support unit of 7" pocket coils is encased by a foam rail. This soy-based foam holds the inedpendent coils in place and is edge support for the sleeping surface.

Aireloom's foundation for Aspire mattresses is Semi-Flex, an advanced-design box spring with V-shaped springs made by Leggett & Platt's Bedding Components division, instead of coils. Adjustable beds are also suitable for these models.

Aspire Collection mattresses are covered by Aireloom's 25-year limited 25/15 warranty.
