Aireloom describes its Preferred Collection of innerspring mattresses as "Innovative design contoured with the next generation of materials." This is exhibited in the collection's use of "Tomorrow's Sleep Materials" and "Today's Patented Design."
Aireloom Lift
All Preferred models use the patented Aireloom Lift™, a design feature intended to lift the sleeper rather than letting the sleeper sink in. According to the company, this puts a "sleep chamber" atop Pocket-Flex coils.
The Preferred Collection consists of three mattress series: Preferred Luxetop™ Designs, Preferred Streamline™ Designs, and Preferred Streamline™ Channel Designs. Separate models within each series are named according to their comfort levels. These series differ in materials and construction.
The Preferred Luxetop™ Designs models are classified as Luxetop™ Plush or Luxetop™ Firm (actual model names in the market will vary). Surface materials include a blend of silk and wool, blended Tencel and polyester, PillowFlex material, convoluted foam, and cotton tricot backing.
Preferred Streamline™ Designs mattresses come in three comfort levels, Plush, Luxury Firm and Extra Firm. The surface is hand-tufted. To the materials in the Luxetop mattresses, it adds extra foam, the type depending on the comfort level.
Preferred Streamline™ Channel Designs models have the same surface configuration as the Luxetop mattresses.
More variety is found in the comfort layers of Preferred Collection mattresses. Latex with Celsion PCMs is in Luxetop Design and Streamline Design models, while those in the Streamline Channel series contain Airegelle™ foam for regulating temperature. Luxetop adds Aireluxe™, Streamline Advanced Zoned Support AZS™ sculpted foam, and Channel high density foam.
All mattresses in the Preferred Collection have an innerspring of Aireloom's Pocket-Flex pocket coils. The wire gauge of these 8" high coils largely determines the comfort level of the model, abetted by the firmnesses of foams above.
The foundation for Aireloom's Preferred Collection uses the advanced box spring design with Semi-Flex V-shaped foundation springs by Leggett & Platt's Bedding Components division. However, these mattresses are also compatible with platform beds and adjustable beds.
The Aireloom warranty for Preferred Collection mattresses is for 25 years. These mattresses are compatible with platform beds and adjustable beds.
