cover is made of white, breathable fabric and is described as "hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant." A

Amerisleep's 4½-lb./12 ILD
Bio-Pur memory foam. This layer is listed as Plush. Memory foam conforms to body contours to provide even support and reduce pressure at larger points, such as hips and shoulders, while supporting critical areas such as the back. According to
Amerisleep, this foam is "plant-based" and is approved by the
SFC.
Underlying support in the
Amerisleep Americana Bed rests on the 7" support core of
Bio-Core base foam. This core keeps the comfort layer from bottoming out. It also provides edge support for the sleeeping surface.
Amerisleep states that the
Americana Bed is "compatible with an
adjustable bed foundation. They sell four adjustable bed models:
Ergo Pursuit,
Ergo Invincible,
Designer Series and
Prodigy. However, memory foam beds also work well with platform foundations.
The
Americana Bed has a 20-year
Amerisleep warranty. The first ten years are fully covered, and the next ten prorated.
