AngelBeds Celebration-HD
The Celebration-HD mattress from AngelBeds is a 13.5 inch model featuring almost all of the innovations offered by AngelBeds. Not the least of those innovations is the HD foam used in the top layer of the mattress. The AngelBeds Celebration-HD uses a euro-top layer of foam, which appears to be about 1.5 – 2 inches, and this layer is sure to be the HD grade foam. The difference between HD foam and standard foam would be like the difference in sweat pants and blue jeans: Both will cover your body from waist to ankle, both retain virtually the same level of heat, both allow relative ease of motion, but one is definitely more durable and longer lasting than the other. HD foam, by design, is heavier, more dense, and should last longer than standard memory foam.
The CoolAir channeled airflow system is a feature on every AngelBed mattress we have seen, and on the Celebration the airflow deisgn in augmented with a CoolMax cover, designed to help the surface of the bed feel more cool. Only the Celebration and Riviera models have this cover standard, and the top-end Grandeur has the CoolMax cover optional. The 20 year warranty and 90 night trial period are also standard features.
When you first lie down no the Celebration mattress you will feel an overall plush feel with some initial firmness. This firmness is due to the 5.3lb memory foam layer, which will need time to warm up to reach maximum softness. The cost of the Celebration set is about $2700.00. Industry leading brands of mattresses with a similar design can cost up to $3600.00, or about $900.00 more. This alone makes us believe the Celebration set is an attractive option, and at least worthy of investigation. The fact that AngelBeds offers free shipping is also attractive.
