At 14½" high,
Evie is the highest model in the first tier of the current
Beautyrest Black collection from
Simmons. The lowest model is
Alexia at 12" high.
Evie, a pillowtop mattress, comes in two comfort levels, Luxury Firm and Plush.
Common to all
Beautyrest Black mattresses is the 850 count
Veriform Advanced Pocketed Coils with the
Energy Foam pad (1½" in
Evie Luxury Firm, ½" in Plush). Around this is the Ventilated
AirCool®
BeautyEdge® Foam Encasement. The 14¾-gauge pocketed coils conform to the sleeper's body contours and dampen motion transfer, and the ventilated foam encasement holds the coils in place and supports the sleeping surface while allowing air to flow through the mattress.
While the coils provide support, the quilt and upholstery layers provide comfort. The quilted
cover utilizes
Sleep Climate Surface Technology with
TENCEL. Fibers of
TENCEL are extracted from wood pulp and are used to control both moisture and temperature. These fibers wick moisture, such as perspiration, from the sleeping surface. As the moisture evaporates, it cools the surface. The cover fabric is quilted with foams. In the Luxury Firm these are ¾" of
GelTouch™ Drop Foam and 1" of Luxury Firm
Comfort Foam, while in the Plush these are 1¼"
AirFeel Foam and ¾"
GelTouch.
The comfort layers also make the difference between the Luxury Firm and the Plush. These are 2"
AirCool Memory Foam, ½"
Comfort Foam, and ½"
Dynamic Response Memory Foam. The
Comfort Foam is Luxury Firm in one and Plush in the other.
Beautyrest Black mattresses, including
Evie, carry a 25 year warranty against manufacturer's defects. The first 15 years are non-prorated. The remaining 10 are prorated.
Evie is available through several retailers across the country, both online and in stores.
