Beautyrest Recharge Hybrid Collection

Beautyrest Recharge Hybrid Collection mattresses combine several comfort layers with pocket coils. This collection belongs to the Beautyrest brand by Simmons. There are at least six models in this collection, ranging from 11½" to 14" high, and from 3 to 7 on an eight-point comfort scale.

Like the basic Beautyrest Recharge Collection, this series relies on individually wrapped pocket coils for contouring support to promote proper spinal alignment and relieve pressure points. While mattresses in the basic collection have an 800 coil count, the Recharge Hybrid mattresses have 1,000. The coil gauges are either 15.5 or 14, depending on the model.

The perimeter of the pocket coil array in Beautyrest Recharge Hybrid mattresses is the ventilated AirCool BeautyEdge foam encasement. This 3" wide foam rail, which has diamond-shaped pores cut through it to let air circulate into, through and out of the mattress, is part of the Simmons AirCool Design. This design also includes the open-cell construction and ventilation pores of the foam layers, as well as a mesh border fabric.

What makes these models "hybrid" is the use of AirCool memory foam in the comfort padding. The three highest models also have a 1,000 count 1½" MicroCoil layer. The microcoils are short pocket coils. Placed in a comfort layer, they are conforming like memory foam, but have the advantage of being lighter and naturally open to air flow. However, they are more expensive, so they are usually found in higher-end mattresses.

The recommended foundations for Beautyrest Recharge Hybrid mattresses are Beautyrest's Triton platform foundation (commonly referred to as a "box spring") and the RENEW™ or NuFlex Adjustable Foundation made for Beautryrest by Ergomotion. The Triton is available in 9" standard height or 5½" low profile.

Mattresses in the Beautyrest Recharge Hybrid Collection have a Simmons Beautyrest 25-year limited manufacturers warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. The first 15 years ar non-prorated, while the remaining ten are prorated.
