Beautyrest TruEnergy Anneliese
Anneliese is a two-model set in the
Beautyrest TruEnergy collection by
Simmons. These are hybrid mattresses, with the
Beautyrest Smart Response Pocketed Coil innerspring and a comfort core featuring
AirCool Memory Foam, the elements of
Beautyrest Recharge Technology.
Recharge Technology combines orthopedic support and temperature control. The independent support of the
Smart Response Pocketed Coil innerspring is designed to hold the back in a proper position for spinal health and restful sleep. The
AirCool Design is a temperature control system to keep the sleeping surface cool, because being too hot makes sleep less restful.
Also called
Variform, the
Smart Response Pocketed Coil technology consists of separately wrapped coils. Each coil responds independently to direct pressure. This conforms to a sleeper's body contours to relieve pressure points. The two
Anneliese models are
Anneliese Extra Firm and
Anneliese Plush. It is in this coil system where the two models differ. the coil gauge is 13.5 in the
Extra Firm and 15 in the
Plush. The coil count is 900.
Below the
Smart Response Pocketed Coil is a half-inch base layer of
Energy Foam, a high-density material. This is necessary to support the independent coils.
In the
Anneliese, also called
Amanda by some retailers,
AirCool Design is engineered to facilitate air flow through the mattresses. The
AirCool Memory Foam has an open-cell design for permeability. This cooling technology also includes the
Ventilated AirCool Foam Encasement edge support. The foam side rails are vented to allow air to flow through into and out of the mattress. Additionally, the
AirCool Mesh Border Fabric enhances this air flow.
The cover of the
Anneliese models features the
Beautyrest Evenloft Quilt Design. The knit fabric is quilted with fire retardant fibers in a way to be breathable. Under this are the comfort layers, 1" of
AirCool Memory Foam and 1.5" of memory foam.
The foundation is the key to support and durability for any mattress.
Simmons Beautyrest says that a solid foundation should have no more than 2" between slats or slabs. The recommended bases are the
Triton Foundation (box spring) in two heights (9" and 5.5") and the
NuFlex Adjustable Foundation.
Anneliese Extra Firm and
Anneliese Plush are covered by a 20-year 10/10 warranty. They are available through several retailers, some of whom call these models
Amanda.
