The Hospitality Foam is the simplest mattress in the Hospitality Series by BIA Mattresses (BIAM), the namesake brand of Bedding Industries of America. It is also the lowest and least expensive model in this very diverse collection.
This model is like those provided for use on slab beds in dormitories, such as the ones sold by University Sleep Products.
The one-piece core of the Hospitality Foam is a 5" high layer of high-density polyurethane foam. The two first components of all-foam mattresses were polyurethane foam and foam rubber (latex). The specimen in the photo bears a Cotton Belt label. The cover composition is not specified, but the appearance in the picture is compatible with cotton or polyester.
This mattress is paired with BIAM's 8" Deluxe Wood Foundation. This all-wood base provides the consistent support needed by specialty sleep (non-coil) mattresses. It would also be compatible with a platform bed. an adjustable bed, or even European wood slats (if they are spaced closely together), but not coil-type box springs. Verify compatibility with terms of the warranty before substituting a foundation other than the default one.
Sold through BIAM's retailers, the Hospitality Foam Mattress is covered by a 10-year non-prorated warranty.
