BioPEDIC 8" Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress

The BioPEDIC 8" Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress made by Soft-Tex Manufacturing Company and and sold through Wayfair is essentially the same as the company's 8" Sensorpedic Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress. It is described as a 3-layer mattress. The key features of this memory foam mattress are the Soft-Tex memory foam, Sensor-Foam, and the triple-layered cover fabric.

The BioPEDIC 8" Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress is covered with triple-layered circular knit fabric. The outer layer is rayon, and the middle and inner layers are polyester. This ⅔-lb. cover is soft, and the rayon is naturally flame resistant. The 3-layer fabrication wicks moisture away from the sleeping surface. The bottom of the cover is skid-proof.

Under the cover is the 2½" top layer of Sensor-Foam. This memory foam conforms to body contours to aid in spinal alignment and pressure relief. It is open-cell, which allows air to circulate for ventilation and cooling. Open-cell construction is now the norm for memory foam. Soft-Tex says that their foams are certified as free from VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Between the Sensor-Foam layer and the supoport core of the BioPEDIC 8" Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress is a spacer sheet of heat dissipating material to help cool the mattress further.

The support core is 5½" of 2# heavy-duty polyurethane base foam. This layer supports the entire mattress and the sleeper(s) to provide orthopedic support and prolong the life of the memory foam.

The BioPEDIC 8" Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress by Soft-Tex carries a 20-year manufacturers warranty against material and manufacturing defects.
