Bragada Madison

Stepping up to more style and elegance from Bragada is the Madison bed in the Cashmere collection. The Madison features the 5.3-lb Bragada CoolTemp memory foam in a 3.5-inch thickness, much like other Bragada beds, however it is separated into a euro-top layer. This is apparently done for appearance purposes only, since the next layer down is the same Bragada MagicMiddle reinforced base foam. There could be a slight difference in airflow through the Bragada CoolTemp memory foam layer, leading to a cooler sleep surface.

Whether the euro-top layer was created purely for aesthetic reasons or operates as a functional temperature regulation system, it is still an attractive feature of the bed. The cashmere cover with natural batting also moves the mattress into a more visually attractive category. The cashmere cover should help the mattress feel more luxuriant to the touch as well. The overall feel of the mattress will remain initially very firm, then reducing to firm after a few minutes. Once the 5.3lb memory foam has become warmer than room temperature, the firm feel you will experience will remain so throughout the night.

The Madison bed by Bragada is certainly an affordable bed in memory foam, starting at a little under $1200 for a queen set with box spring. Tempur-Pedic, as a benchmark, does not have a directly comparable model, but the ClassicBed is pretty close, and the price is still $500 higher than this set – without the foundation! The Madison bed by Bragada is a very considerable option.
