Brooklyn Bedding Aloe Alexis

The Brooklyn Bedding Aloe Alexis mattress is a latex mattress with a quilted aloe vera cover, a fabric of Aloe Alexis yarn made from 100% Natural Cotton and Viscose from the Aloe Plant Fiber in a 50/50 blend. - which is designed to be hypoallergenic and have moisture wicking. Like all Brooklyn Bedding mattresses, it can be personalized by the Exchangeable Comfort Layers of talalay latex foam which fit into the Perfect-Top zippered mattress pad cover. The Aloe Alexis is named after a daughter of one of the company's owners (each mattress is thus named).

Three Brooklyn Bedding latex mattresses have conventional foam quilted beneath the cover fabric. Not only does this provide a traditional look and feel, it is intended to provide an airflow layer, allowing your body heat to escape easily. It also includes organic compressed wool to meet the federal fire retardant regulations. The wool in the mattress is chemical-free to prevent reactions to irritating chemicals.

Brooklyn Bedding claims that the cotton in the cotton-aloe cover yields a refreshing and luxurious feel because it is smooth and yielding. Additionally, the hypo-allergenic and anti-bacterial aloe gives the user a safer, cleaner & healthier sleep.

The 14" Aloe Alexis latex mattress consists of multiple layers (top->bottom): 100% Natural Cotton & Aloe Mix Mattress Cover, 1" Chemical-Free Wool & Soft Reflex Foam, (2) 3" Layers of Talalay Latex, and a 7" of 2.17lb HD Omalon Foam Core. As to the Omalon Foam Core, Brooklyn Bedding says, "Our foam core will outlast the mattress and will not sag."
