The Casper Mattress is designed and produced by Casper Sleep, a new bedding company located in New York City. The result of intense research into what the best mattress is for most people, this latex/memory foam hybrid foam mattress has been postively reviewed by several bloggers, including those not provided with free mattresses for testing and review (by disclosures of material interest). The production and supply chain is deliberately constructed for manufacturing an affordable quality mattress.
The Casper Latex & Memory Foam Mattress is 10" high. It has three layers, one for base support, the other two for comfort. In company descriptions, materials in this foam mattress are described as "resilient." According to Casper Sleep, it is "Developed and crafted with exacting standards in the U.S.A." Casper Sleep has a FAQ page with considerable information about this mattress.
The cover of the Casper Mattress is made of textiles produced in the United States and Belgium. Knits for the top panel are fabricated in South Carolina and Illinois, and fabric for side panels is woven in Belgium (not in Asia). They are described as "Breathable and flexible." Sewn together in IL and SC, they are sent to Georgia to be put on the mattresses.
The 7" support core of the Casper Latex & Memory Foam Mattress is dense polyurethane. providing overall support for the mattress and edge support for the sleeping surface. This base is expected to prolong the usable life of the comfort layers above.
The top layer of the Casper Mattress is 1½" of 13 ILD dunlop latex, continuously poured. Latex is resilient and breathable. It is also resistant to fungi and bacteria.
The latex layer is fused to a 1½" layer of 4-lb. memory foam. This high-density memory foam is conforming, with the prime benefit of relieving pressure, while also supportive. Casper Sleep credits this combination and order of foams for a feel which fits most users.
Casper Sleep has a 100-night sleep trial for the Casper Latex & Memory Foam Mattress, as well as a 10-year warranty.

It's strange that a mattress made out of foam could be so firm. Yet, when trying to lift it it is difficult because of that and actually broke my husbands fingernail. It could use some handles. Also, it is somewhat thin for a mattress.
Mattress Rating: Mattress Comfort:I thought this mattress would be comfortable as I had been sleeping on a mattress that was spring with a thick memory foam on top. Alas, the Casper mattress is not comfortable at all. It feels hard as a brick.
Mattress Durability:I did not keep the mattress, so I do not know how its durability is.
Mattress Support:Oh, it will definitely support you. How long, I do not know as I could not keep it.
