Classic Collection

With six models, the Classic Collection is the largest collection in the SleepMaker Collection of innerspring mattresses made by Canadian manufacturer Marshall Mattress Company. The six models are Classic Indulgence, Classic Inspiration, Classic Style, Classic Finesse, Classic Opulence, and Classic Elegance.

The first four models listed above feature 824-count pocket coils wrapped in white Fibretek with side support springs. The other two have a 744-count Marshall-loc® continuous open coil innerspring with edge support springs (these are the only current Marshall models without pocket coils). One retailer indicates that the mattresses in this collection are the least expensive of Marshall's mattresses.

There is a similar division with the upholstery, with the first four using Hollofill* pillow fibres, while the last two use soft Fortrel* pillow fibres. All of the models feature polyester fibers, compressed felt pads, natural cotton fiber, and soy foam. The models do differ in the number and firmness of the soy foam layers. As a result, they range from 11" to 13" in height, and firmness levels from very firm to medium-plush. The configuration of three of the models are tight-top, two are pillow-top, and one is comfort-top.

Two of the models, Inspiration and Style, can be flipped; the upholstery is layered on both sides of the innerspring. The rest have a no-flip design with the upholstery on only one side.

All of the Classic models share the same cover material: "a hand tailored, Belgian Viscose [rayon] blend damask fabric with matching airflow quilted borders." The means of airflow through the borders is not described.

Each of the Classic Collection mattresses comes in the standard sizes (Twin, Double, Queen, King). They are also available in Twin XL and Double XL. Folding sizes are not available.

All models come with a modular foundation. This platform, which is fully upholstered, comes in sections which are assembled for the foundation.

The Classic Collection mattresses carry Marshall's 10-year warranty. They are carried by several retailers across Canada.
