ComfortAire DreamAire Cerenity

The 9 inch Cerenity adjustable airbed features slightly more upper foam than the Cirrus model, with about 1.5 inches of foam quilted into the cover and an additional layer of soft foam beneath the quilted cover, directly above the air chambers. We consider an airbed at the fully inflated firmness for rating purposes, and with only a small amount of foam at the surface of this bed we would expect the overall feel to be firm. The air core is either a single core on twin, full, or queen sizes, or a 2-core system on the full, queen, and king sizes. Every ComfortAire airbed in the DreamAire collection features a foam surround which will add some edge firmness as well as contain the air cores.

The most obvious concern for creating a comfortable airbed is the ability to customize the air pressure in the bed, thereby changing the firmness. The Cerenity uses a 5 inch thick air core, and the air pressure in the core is controlled by a pump called the IFC2001, which is listed as a quiet pump with memory features and a instant-full button, so you can fill the air chambers to capacity then reduce the firmness until you are comfortable. The control for the IFC2001 is a wired remote.

For an entry level airbed, the Cerenity does have several advanced features, such as the independently replaceable cover and the remote with memory recall. According to the manufacturers website, the suggested price for a 2-core queen with independently adjustable sides is about $1560.00. A 20 year warranty is included with 1 year on the cover (top pad) and 3 years for the airbed without proration.
