Comfortaire Ultimate Series

The Ultimate Series of air beds, with only two models, U11 Solstice and U15 Harmony, is the highest-priced series in the 2015 Collection by Comfortaire. The key feature shared by the two models which sets this series apart from the Genesis Series and the Nouvelle Series is the split-top configuration. In this respect, the Ultimate Series models are similar to the Sleep Number X12 by Select Comfort.

The other feature shared by the U11 Solstice and U15 Harmony is the Attune Design with urethane film air chambers and a HD foam support layer. These air chambers underlie the entire length and width of the mattress for Edge-to-Edge fully adjustable air support just beneath the comfort layer. The support layer in the U15 is three times as thick as that in the U11, requiring Foam Perimeter Support in the former, but not in the latter. They also share the WhisperFlo 7200 dual-diaphragm air pump.

The two Comfortaire Ultimate Series airbed models differ in the compositions of their covers and in the compositions and heights of their comfort and support layers. In spite of the differences, both models have a plush comfort feel at the sleeping surface.

Since these models are split-top in Queen and King sizes, they require split sizes in adjustable beds. Fortunately, the larger sizes of adjustable foundations are normally split models. Comfortaire sells the Shipshape and Silhouette adjustable bases made by Leggett & Platt.

Comfortaire Ultimate Series airbed mattresses are covered by a 25-year limited manufacturer's warranty. The first 4 years are not prorated, while the remaining 21 years are.
