Cool Kids Beds (Blue or Pink)
The Cool Kids Beds, Cool Kids Blue and Cool Kids Pink, are in the DM Kids Collection by Diamond Mattress. According to Diamond, "The Cool Kids mattress collection by Diamond Mattress is designed with children in mind, featuring fun colors and the conforming feel of memory foam." These models have been designed primarily for young children. As children grow older, taller and heavier, Diamond advises shifting to a model designed for youth, such as their ABC One or ABC Two.

The Cool Kids Beds (Blue or Pink) are memory foam mattresses. They have three layers: Comfort layer, support layer, and base layer. Each layer has its function. The base layer undergirds the bed, providing foundational support for the other two layers. The support layer has orthopedic support the the child using it. And the comfort layer cradles and cushions the sleeping child.



Coupled with the Orthopedic Support Foam in the support layer, the highly-conforming memory foam brings the firmness of the Cool Kids Pink or Blue to medium (6 on a 10-point scale). This layer is made of DM's Cool Eco-Memory Foam. Memory foam contours itself to the sleeper's body, relieving pressure points. The Cool Eco-Memory Foam is ventilated vertically to promote airflow through the mattress to cool it. Without a technique such as this, the memory foam builds up heat and becomes uncomfortable.

The velour covers of the Cool Kids Blue and Cool Kids Pink are zippered so they can be removed and washed, an important consideration with children.. This cover is resistant to allergens such as dust mites. It also has a non-skid bottom so it does not scoot around and it holds the sheets in place.

The warranty on these mattresses is for 20 years.
